New Town Friends in Need (NTFIN)
A registered social welfare organization comprised of Gated housing communities in New Town (Kolkata), dedicated to the welfare of the NewTown residents, for a better tomorrow.
NTFiN, being a legitimate body, comprised of members who are either a Secretary or a President or authorized representative from respective housing complex , and such members through AGM elect office bearers of NTFiN.
The primary objective of NTFiN is welfare of such gated community residents.
Another notable objectives is also to liaison relevant govt bodies, such as NKDA/ HIDCO, Police, PWD, Water & Fire Dept etc. to assist in the improvement of facilities & services in/ around the housing complexes. As a proposed Apex body, being a legitimate representative of all gated communities, NTFiN is also competent to liaison with the Competent Authority when required.
